Naples/Maratea/Stromboli/Panarea/Lipari/Salina/Vulcano/Filucudi/Alicudi
1st day Boarding in Naples at 4 p.m. and departure for Maratea, a strategic stop to half the passage until the Eolie; first night in the equipped but still characteristic marina.
2nd day
Waking up, breakfast and sail for Stromboli where it is to worth going ashore in the late afternoon both for visiting the island and for an aperitif at Stromboli village, maybe the most fashionable event on the island. Do not miss a sea tour to the fire volcanic scoria if not even a guided tour up on the volcano.
3rd day
Departure for the close Panarea stopping for a swim at Basiluzzo (a huge rock facing Panarea) and at Cala Junco from where you can reach by foot the prehistoric village of Punta Milazzese. In the evening there’s life from 7 p.m. aperitifs time until 10 p.m. and again after one o'clock to the bitter end!!!
4th day
Tour of Lipari full of charming coves, with a “compulsory” swim to the pumice caves and sail for Volcano for a quite romantic dinner after having spent a burning night at Panarea!
5th day
Salina! Between Punta Lingua and the marina you can pick and choose how to spend the evening. Do not miss a swim in the enchanting bay of Pollara, an ancient sunk crater, a paradise for underwater fishers.
6th day
Waking up at Salina with swim at Pollara and sail for Filicudi. At Filicudi, weather permitting, you’d better berth at the free Pecorini pier which in our opinion is the nicest place in the island. Once at Pecorini a look to the only two bars and a restaurant will be enough to set your clock back twenty years. At Pecorini having a cold bier is not a guarantee, but it is worth to drink a “fresh” one while enjoying the view that the island offers.
Do not miss a swim at Canna (a stack about 70 m high) and at the Blue Marin grotto (a cave 20 m high with crystal-clear waters) and a trip to the rehistoric village of Capo Graziano, a very important archaeological site.
7th day
Direction Alicudi, geographically the farthest among the Eolie islands...and the most Spartan one as well…you will love it madly or exactly the opposite. Alicudi is a volcanic cone characterized by sheer cliffs inhabited by gull colonies. If you feel like going ashore remember there are no streets but only paths to go on foot or on a donkey!
8/9/10/11th days
From now on you start the way back among the Eolie islands discovering places and new situations of the islands already visited.
12th day
Way back up to Naples, but this time instead of stopping in Maratea, you sail forthe natural harbour of Infreschi, north of Maratea. On the beach there’s a restaurant where it is worth recovering the energies spent during the passage!
13th day
Sail for Naples. Return and overnight stay in Naples and dinner on board at SUN ‘N SAIL pier!!!
14th day
Check out and disembarking at 10 a.m. and…lots of memories
